I’ll get to the Teen Titans, but first, a rant.

Let me start by saying that I am intolerant.  I want to put that upfront, before I get accused of being an ignorant hypocrite.

There are some things that if you want to get along with me, you need to be aware of.  If you are one of the folks that I’m about to talk about that I can’t tolerate, then you should walk away.  We are not going to get along.

I used to fight with these people.  I’m learning to be better.  Not by learning to tolerate.  By learning to walk away from the intolerable.

If you are the type of person who gets something for free because of someone’s good nature, and you complain about it not being good enough for you, you’re ungrateful, and I don’t want to hear it.  Don’t come to me with your tirades about your entitlement.  I’m not going to listen.

If you want to complain to me that democrats are taking away your rights to terrorize others by bringing assault rifles to public places and scaring children, or your right to shoot people you just want to shoot, then really get the fuck away from me.  You are a terrible person and I don’t want you in my life.

If you are opposed to the ideas of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, by deciding that taking away health care, turning away refugees escaping terrorism, or discriminating against people who are living their own life in a peaceful manner that has absolutely no effect on you, then that means you probably want me to die too, so why the hell are you even talking to me?  Go away.

If your ideas are that it’s cool to hurt people who aren’t hurting you, or claim that people are hurting you just by their existence, really, just fuck off.  You have a lot of issues to work on and I’m not the person to help you with those issues.

Bigotry is a sickness.  Discrimination is terrorism.  More people die from the acts of hateful people attacking the vulnerable than from bombs.  [Bombs are still bad too, though.]  If you hate terrorism, then don’t be a bigot.  There are places that can help you to overcome your disease.  Bigotry stems from fears based in ignorance.  You don’t have to live like that.  You can be free.  But if you choose to be miserable, please at least don’t infect others with your misery.

Okay, I promise to talk about the Teen Titans next time.
